Pulborough Parish Council has set its annual precept rate at an increase of 5.03% for Band D properties - meaning a rise in cost of 10p per week.

This increase is below the rate of inflation and is lower than many larger neighbouring parish councils. Pulborough’s Parish Council chair Len Ellis-Brown said he believed parishioners would see an increasing return on the investment in the parish.

'We wanted to keep the precept as low as possible whilst continuing to improve the services provided to the community. We are now attracting more grants, sponsorship and partnership monies to the village which will help strengthen our communities at a much faster rate. We look forward to sharing these plans in detail with you at our Annual Meeting on May 16th.’
