Pulborough parish Council is backing the hosting of West Sussex Fairtrade’s AGM in our local parish hall as a way of promoting our Fairtrade aims and status.

Admission to the event which starts at 7pm on 22nd May is free and everyone is welcome. There’ll be free refreshments including chance to try out Fairtrade wines, a free raffle, stalls and information about Fairtrade, with speakers Sarah Payne from local chocolate company Cocoa Loco and Fritha Vincent of Secret Projects.

Parish Council chair Len-Ellis Brown, who represents the PPC on the Fairtrade group, welcomed the event to our village.

“It is a real honour to be the hub for Fairtrade in this our 20th anniversary year of being having a Fairtrade group. This exciting event offers a fun evening for people who want to find out more about how they can consume ethically. With free entrance and great speakers, I’d encourage everyone who can to pop along. I hope to see you there,”

Free tickets can be booked on Eventbrite now - pre-booking will help organisers plan the seating and refreshments.
