A new community music festival, Pultopia is being staged in the South Downs village of Pulborough on Saturday June 29th with live music, food, drink, and family fun that will help raise money for local causes.

The summer festival is being run by Pulborough Parish Council with a team of local volunteers and music enthusiasts led by MC Kev (aka Pulborough Parish Councillor Kevin Lee) who has a simple message for anyone thinking of coming:

“Pultopia will bring Peace, Unity, Love and is about having FUN. Life is short. Buy tickets!’

The impressive line-up of musicians from across the South playing well known 80s and 90s to music right up to current day tunes, includes:

Kent-based singer/songwriter Shannen Turner,

Sussex-based rock cover band, Accidental Suspects,

sounds of the 80s from Ask the Girl,

and indie rock act The 505s

Summing up the event, Chair of Pulborough Parish Council, Len Ellis-Brown said: “Pultopia is the first community music festival we’ve ever held in Pulborough. Thanks to our hard-working volunteers who, with support from Pulborough Parish Council, we hope to create a fantastic and memorable music event. It’ll be a great opportunity for the community to get together and have some fun while raising vital funds for local good causes.”
