Local Government Scale LC1 SCP 13-17 £23,023-£24,920 pa (pro-rata) dependent on experience and qualification . 30 hours per week

A unique opportunity has arisen to join the Parish Council’s administrative support to assist, support and provide cover for the Parish Clerk in all aspects of the day-to-day management and operation of council services, including managing two council committees and council allotments.

The role is a permanent position, mostly office based but with some flexibility, and includes attending at least two evening meetings per month.

Salary to be set at a point within the range £23,023-£24,920 (pro-rata) depending on relevant experience, with attractive holiday entitlement and pension scheme.

Applicants must possess excellent communication skills, have experience of using Excel, Word, Email, be extremely well organised and have an eye for detail. It is essential that the successful applicant can work on their own and use their initiative, as well as be part of a team.
