A29 Landslip - pedestrian access alternatives:
As the A 29 is closed to all traffic this also includes pedestrians. This affects the ability to walk up from Lower Street /Station Road to access Tesco's, Pulborough Medical Group and Elite garage. There are two alternative pedestrian routes to avoid the A29, one to the west and the other to the east of the landslip. Both routes are suitable for pedestrians and pedestrians with push chairs. One route is from Church Place to the train station and the other from Old Rectory Lane to Lower Street, both marked in purple on the map (Follow link to view map).
