Annual Return

The Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR) is an annual report completed providing a snapshot of our financial activities and governance. It includes our financial statements, governance statements, and the findings of an independent internal auditor, all of which are examined by an independent external auditor. We make this report public to ensure transparency and accountability in our financial reporting, a crucial part of delivering value for residents of the parish and maintaining public confidence.

The AGAR is approved at a Full Council meeting and once approved and submitted, we publish a Notice of Public Rights, which gives taxpayers the right to inspect and make copies of our accounting records for that financial year.
